HAI PHONG INTERNATIONAL OBSTETRICS AND PEDIATRICS HOSPITAL IN COOPERATION WITH THE DEWEY SCHOOLS SYSTEM – HAI PHONG ORGANIZES BASIC FIRST AID SKILLS TRAINING
With the desire to raise awareness and initial first aid skills for the staff, teachers, and employees of the school – those who frequently interact with, care for, and protect students, Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital has collaborated with THE DEWEY SCHOOLS – HAI PHONG to organize a series of basic first aid training classes.
The program is systematically designed, easy to understand, and easy to practice, with direct guidance from a team of experienced doctors and nurses covering 5 main topics:
First aid for bleeding – proper bleeding control and bandaging
First aid for fractures – immobilizing limbs, minimizing injury
First aid for burns – cooling, safe initial treatment
Electric shock management – disconnect power, support breathing, circulation
Drowning management – on-site first aid, CPR
The program is a practical activity in building a safe learning environment, where every teacher and staff member is a “first responder on-site” – ready to react quickly in emergency situations.
