HAI PHONG INTERNATIONAL OBSTETRICS AND PEDIATRICS HOSPITAL AND THE INTERNATIONAL CHILD SURGERY FOUNDATION (ICSF, USA) CONTINUE TO COLLABORATE TO IMPLEMENT THE HUMANITARIAN SURGERY PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN WITH FACIAL DEFORMITIES
On the morning of May 6, 2025, Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital is honored to welcome the International Children’s Surgery Foundation (ICSF) to carry out a meaningful humanitarian surgery program for children with facial deformities, especially cleft lip and palate. This is the second consecutive year that International Obstetrics and Pediatrics and ICSF have collaborated to organize this program, continuing the journey of providing life-changing opportunities for unfortunate children.
From the hospital side, there is Dr. Pham Thu Xanh – Executive Director along with the heads of the relevant departments to welcome.
From the delegation, we are honored to welcome Prof. Dr. W. Geoff Williams, Chairman of the Board and Medical Director of ICSF. With over 30 years of experience in the field of cosmetic surgery and treatment of children’s facial deformities, Prof. Williams has brought new smiles and confidence to thousands of children around the world.
After the discussion, on the same afternoon, the medical team from the International Children’s Surgical Organization conducted screenings for 39 children who registered to participate in the program. The specialists will assess the degree of deformity and perform surgery for those who qualify.
