As many leading experts around the world have stated, “Children are not just small adults,” the development of the pediatric surgery specialty is an inevitable trend for Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital. Therefore, on January 16, 2021, the Pediatric Surgery Department was established to meet the demands for diagnosis, treatment, and in-depth research on pediatric surgical conditions. The establishment of the Pediatric Surgery Department will help children in Hai Phong and surrounding areas to be timely diagnosed and treated for conditions requiring surgical intervention, reducing the need for referrals, saving costs for patients, and significantly alleviating the burden on Children’s Hospital and central hospitals in Hanoi.

Human Resources Team

Gathering a well-trained human resources team, including BSCKII. Nguyen Duy Tuan – Head of the Pediatric Surgery Department, who has over 20 years of professional experience in examining and treating pediatric surgical conditions; previously served as Deputy Head of the General Surgery Department at Hai Phong Children’s Hospital. The nursing team is well-trained, passionate about their profession, and has professional experience in caring for pediatric patients, ensuring that children and their families experience and enjoy the best service.

Designed and arranged according to the international standard Hospital-Hotel model, the inpatient rooms are fully equipped with medical equipment, providing convenience and comfort for pediatric patients and their families.

The hospital offers various inpatient room options suitable for the families of pediatric patients.
