Celebrating World Patient Safety Day 09/17/2024

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an average of 134 million incidents of unsafe care occur annually in hospitals in low- and middle-income countries, resulting in 2.6 million deaths. Globally, 4 out of 10 patients experience harm related to the process of primary and outpatient healthcare. Among these, 80% of incidents are preventable, with serious errors often related to diagnostic activities, prescribing, and medication use.
Recognizing that patient safety is a global health priority, the World Health Assembly (WHA) adopted a resolution on Patient Safety, designating September 17 each year as World Patient Safety Day.
In response to World Patient Safety Day on September 17, 2024, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) with the theme “Accurate Diagnosis, Safe Treatment” and the slogan “Get it RIGHT, Make it SAFE!”, Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital actively disseminates useful medical information for patients and their families, while also organizing guidance and educational activities to enhance the awareness of healthcare staff. With the goal of providing “Perfect Service” to customers, International Obstetrics and Pediatrics hopes that with expertise and dedication, every customer who comes to us will receive the most comprehensive care!
