Notably, Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital has strengths in emergency care and nurturing low-birth-weight premature infants. The pediatric intensive care unit is home to many skilled experts who successfully rescued and nurtured 110 low-birth-weight premature infants last year, particularly successfully nurturing many extremely premature infants born at 25-26 weeks, weighing only 750 grams. The development of advanced techniques has been implemented in most hospitals; the International General Hospital performs vascular interventions, endoscopic interventions, and joint treatments using platelet-rich plasma, while Vinh Bao International Hospital has mastered hip replacement and spinal hernia techniques.<\/p>\n
In the coming time, Hang Kenh Corporation will continue to accelerate the progress of the Thuy Nguyen International General Hospital project, a 19-story facility with 500 beds; the Hai Duong International Hospital complex with 1,500 beds, including general, oncology, and obstetrics and pediatrics in 2024. The second phase of the Vinh Bao International General Hospital project will also be implemented. Along with that, the unit will continue to implement the hospital and resort project on Cat Ba Island; Cat Bi Geriatric Hospital and establish several specialized centers such as: the Regenerative Medicine Center, which includes two components: Genetics and Stem Cells under the International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital in the second quarter of 2024 for storing umbilical cord blood, producing and applying stem cells in clinical practice; the Prenatal and Neonatal Screening and Diagnosis Center under the International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital in 2024; the Early Cancer Screening and Diagnosis Center at Hai Phong International General Hospital\u2026<\/p>\n
