There are two levels depending on the size of the breasts:<\/p>\n<p>1. Breast hypertrophy (macromastia) with a volume of less than 2.5 kg<\/p>\n<p>2. Gigantomastia with a volume greater than 2.5 kg<\/p>\n<p>This condition is commonly seen in women with elevated hormone levels, stimulating development in the breast epithelium. The adipose tissue, stromal tissue, or glandular tissue may be involved, and genetic factors can also play a role. Patients may experience pain radiating to the shoulders and back, numbness in the arms, headaches, and a tendency for the spine to curve forward.
