Since its official establishment and operation, with all the passion for the profession, the enthusiasm of youth, and years of well-trained experience and knowledge, the entire staff of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has worked tirelessly to ensure that all babies are born safely. With the support and provision of the best conditions from the Hospital’s leadership, the doctors in the department are continuously trained and updated, applying new knowledge. The department is equipped with the most modern devices to implement new and advanced techniques such as: ventilators, blood gas analyzers, negative pressure suction machines, and automatic blood exchange pumps.<\/p>\n

After one month of operation, the department has successfully treated many cases, including difficult and complex cases, such as:
\n– 06 patients with severe respiratory failure on ventilators, successfully treated.
\n– 02 patients with severe thrombocytopenic hemorrhage: both received platelet transfusions on the day of admission and were stabilized for discharge.
\n– 01 patient with severe septic shock, respiratory failure, and multiple organ failure.
\n– 01 patient in pre-coma due to diabetic ketoacidosis type I.
\n– Blood exchange using an automatic machine.Recently in Hai Phong, successfully saved a patient with severe jaundice at risk of kernicterus, who had respiratory rhythm disturbances.
\n– 02 patients with respiratory failure after delivery, two pairs of premature twins at 31 and 34 weeks.
\n– Hundreds of patients with respiratory tract infections have been successfully treated and discharged.
\n– The department has successfully performed techniques such as: automated blood exchange, central venous catheter placement, central arterial catheter placement, endotracheal intubation for mechanical ventilation… <\/p>\n
