Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital organizes health check-ups for the children of Hai Dang Xanh Kindergarten.

Regular health check-ups for young children, especially in the preschool age group, are one of the important aspects of school health activities. This helps hospitals, schools, and families understand the health status, detect early risks of illness, and plan effective health care for children.
On the morning of August 13, 2025, Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital organized a regular health check-up for the children and the teaching staff at Hai Dang Xanh Preschool.

Periodic health check-ups not only detect early cases of diseases commonly found in schools, such as obesity, malnutrition, dental diseases, and other internal-external diseases, but also other conditions that families may not have identified due to the absence of clear symptoms. During this health check-up, the children are examined in sequence from height, weight, to ear-nose-throat and dental examinations. Additionally, doctors also conduct surgical and nutritional assessments for over 130 children to timely identify any health issues. Particularly, cases of acute diseases such as hand-foot-mouth disease, chickenpox, pneumonia, etc., that require prompt examination and treatment will be immediately reported after the check-up with a Referral Slip so that the children can receive prioritized treatment. Other pathological cases will be compiled to send back notifications to the school. From there, the school will inform the parents of the children. At the same time, teachers will also undergo general health examinations to screen for health issues to ensure the quality of child care.

This activity is part of a series of health care activities for preschool age conducted by Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital in collaboration with kindergartens in the city to spread beautiful gestures in the community, contributing to the cause of health care for the people.
