KICK-OFF OF THE FREE SURGERY PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN WITH FACIAL DEFORMITIES ON THE FIRST DAY

Today, Hai Phong National Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and the International Children’s Surgery Foundation (ICSF) have entered the first day of a free surgery campaign for children unfortunate enough to suffer from cleft lip and palate defects.

With high expertise, dedication, and compassion, the surgeries are performed accurately, quickly, and responsibly by specialists. Through this, the children are given the opportunity to change their lives, becoming more confident in communication and integrating into the community. The surgery program for the children is expected to last for 6 consecutive days.

Sharing about this collaborative activity, Prof. Dr. W. Geoff Williams, Chairman of the Board and Medical Director of ICSF stated:

“We are very pleased to continue our collaboration with Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital in the free surgery program for children with facial deformities, especially cleft lip and palate. This is one of the deeply meaningful programs, bringing not only physical changes but also creating new opportunities for children to integrate into society. This collaboration allows us to reach many children in need of help, providing successful surgeries that change their lives. We hope to continue a long-term partnership with International Obstetrics and Pediatrics to assist even more children in the future.”

This activity is not just about surgeries, but a message of compassion, a community effort to bring opportunities and joy to underprivileged children. These are significant steps in the journey of helping them, creating changes not only in appearance but also in spirit, helping them to be more confident and rise in life. Hai Phong Obstetrics and Pediatrics International Hospital is proud to be a part of this humanitarian journey, where medical expertise and charitable hearts come together to bring joy and hope to families.
