Mental Health Center – Autism Established: Accompanying Children to Integrate, Helping Them Develop with Confidence

When giving birth, parents always hope for their child to be healthy. Health here not only refers to physical well-being but also mental health. Nowadays, the rate of children with developmental disorders such as speech delays, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and intellectual disabilities, as well as psychological issues like depression and anxiety disorders in adolescents, is on the rise. Unlike physical issues that parents can quickly recognize, psychological problems are much harder to detect.
With the desire to accompany and provide comprehensive health care for children in the most natural way, from physical to mental health, starting from December 1, 2023, the International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital officially launches the Mental Health – Autism Center.
The Mental Health – Autism Center is equipped with modern facilities and a highly specialized team that will provide children with a comfortable and pleasant examination and therapy space, free from stress or fear, thereby encouraging children to cooperate with specialists, which helps increase the effectiveness of treatment.
Dr. Cao Thi Quynh Diep, Head of the Mental Health – Autism Center, has extensive experience in examining and treating children with autism and psychological issues; along with Master of Psychology Tran Thi Thuy and a team of experienced special education teachers.
