On the afternoon of November 13, the General Corporation of Hang Kenh coordinated with the city police to organize a fire prevention and fighting training session for the medical staff of the hospital.
Attending the training session were: Mr. Vu Quoc Uy – Deputy General Director of the General Corporation of Hang Kenh; BSCKII. Nguyen Tuan Tu – Director of Pediatrics at Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital; Mr. Luong Van Tich – Chief Financial Officer of Hai Phong International General Hospital; representatives from the propaganda department of the city police along with the personnel of both hospitals.
The training session aimed to disseminate general knowledge about fire prevention and fighting work, how to escape in case of fire and explosion incidents, as well as how to use the firefighting equipment available at the hospital.
Through the training session, the collective staff of the hospital:

– Be clear about fire prevention and fighting work, ensure the safety of human life and property, maintain social order and safety, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the city.

After the theoretical supplement period, hospital staff practice deploying the B nozzle, fire hoses, using the MFZ4 powder extinguisher, and CO2 gas extinguisher to extinguish small fires.
Through theory and practice, Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital has drawn some measures to improve fire and explosion prevention at the facility:
– Manage and organize the storage of records, materials, equipment, and server rooms in an orderly and scientific manner, enhance inspections, early detection, and timely prevention of fires and explosions.
– Manage and inspect the use of electrical sources, electrical cabinets, power outlets, and heat sources to ensure fire safety;
By effectively implementing fire prevention and fighting work at the facility, Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital maintains regular self-inspections of all areas in the hospital to minimize risks and fire hazards, establishes a fire prevention and fighting team equipped with adequate knowledge and regular training to limit fire and explosion situations, and to handle and extinguish fires right from the moment they arise.
