Removed 16 breast tumors with a small incision for a 41-year-old female patient.
Patient N.T.L, 41 years old from An Duong, Hai Phong, has been diagnosed with a benign breast tumor for a long time. After many years of examination and treatment at various facilities without results, she placed her trust and chose Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital. Through examination and 3D elastography ultrasound of the breast, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hoc – Head of the Obstetrics Department discovered many tumors of varying sizes on both sides of the patient’s breast. The patient was immediately scheduled for tumor excision surgery. The surgery was performed safely and successfully, with the team excising a total of 16 benign tumors ranging in size from 10x15mm to 20x20mm. Assoc. Not every surgery can be done this way.”
Post-surgery, the patient’s health is stable and she is scheduled for discharge after 6 days of inpatient monitoring.
