SEASONAL CHANGE: BE CAREFUL OF RESPIRATORY DISEASES

During the changing seasons, the weather and humidity fluctuate unpredictably, making it difficult for the body to adapt, creating conditions for respiratory disease-causing viruses and bacteria to thrive. Respiratory diseases are the most common; such as colds, rhinitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, and the recurrence of chronic conditions like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or chronic cardiovascular diseases.

For young children, the immune system is mostly not fully developed, and their resistance is weak, making them very susceptible to infections during the changing seasons. When children get sick, they can deteriorate more quickly than adults.
Therefore, it is necessary to prevent illness in children by:

– Keeping the body healthy by increasing physical activity to improve overall health

– Eating a balanced diet with sufficient nutrients to boost immunity, especially foods rich in vitamins; green vegetables, fresh fruits

– Ensuring full vaccination against influenza

– Maintaining personal hygiene, keeping living spaces well-ventilated and free from dust

– Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing; if using your hands to cover your mouth, be sure to wash them thoroughly with soap.

– Wear a mask and avoid crowded places during an outbreak.

– Keep your body warm.

– If you have any unusual symptoms, you need to be examined and consulted by a doctor.
