After 6 days of active and urgent work, the free humanitarian surgery program for children with facial deformities, especially those with cleft lip and cleft palate, organized by the International Children’s Surgery Foundation (ICSF) in collaboration with Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital has officially concluded successfully. A total of 18 surgeries were performed with excellent results, providing an opportunity to change the appearance and improve the health of these unfortunate children.
At the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Tu – Deputy Director of Pediatrics, representing the leadership of Hai Phong International Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, expressed sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. W. Geoff Williams – Chairman of the Board and Medical Director of ICSF, along with the entire working delegation. He expressed deep appreciation for the dedicated and professional support of the medical staff and international experts, who have contributed to helping children have a better future. At the same time, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Tu hopes that the cooperative relationship between ICSF and the hospital will be maintained and developed for a long time, to continue writing many meaningful stories, bringing joy and hope to even more children in the future.
