Tongue frenectomy using Plasma Plus method: A modern technique that provides optimal results in pediatric surgery.
The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that approximately 5% of young children have congenital tongue tie. At the Interdisciplinary Department – International Pediatric Center, the method of tongue tie surgery using Plasma knife is being applied. This method is favored and chosen by many families of patients. It has outstanding advantages compared to other methods:
Difficulty in breastfeeding, eating, and speaking,
Difficulty or complete inability to move the tongue side to side,
Difficulty or complete inability to lift the tongue to touch the upper jaw,
Difficulty or complete inability to stick the tongue out of the lower jaw,
When the child cries, the tongue is in a heart or V shape,

Children with tongue tie degrees 1 and 2 can be calmly monitored further to see how the tongue tie condition affects them.
