Dr. NGUYEN THANH CONG: THE “GOLDEN” HAND IN PEDIATRIC SURGERY – PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY
Dr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, an expert with over 35 years of experience in Pediatric Surgery – Pediatric Cardiology. He has undergone extensive training at medical universities both domestically and internationally, such as: – Graduated with Honors from Odessa National Medical University, Russian Federation – Completed a pediatric surgery internship at Kobe Children's Hospital, Japan. – Graduated from the FFI pediatric surgery training course at Necker – Enfants Malads Hospital, Paris – France. – Completed a cardiac surgery internship at Montsouris Hospital, Paris, France. – Graduated from internships in pediatric surgery and pediatric cardiology at Kobe Children's Hospital, Samsung Medical Center, Seoul – South Korea, Bambino – Jesu Hospital, Rome – Italy. – In February 2011: Doctoral thesis topic “Study on the treatment of congenital esophageal atresia in children by thoracoscopic esophageal reconstruction” 
In addition, he is a member of several prestigious pediatric associations:
– Member of the Vietnam Pediatric Surgery Association.
– Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Cardiothoracic Surgery Association.
With extensive experience and a dedicated commitment to the medical field, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Cong has received numerous commendations, including:
– Minister of Health, in 2010 awarded a certificate of merit: For outstanding achievements in completing the tasks and health plan for 2009.
– Minister of Health, in 2010 awarded: “Commemorative Medal for People’s Health”, for significant contributions to the protection, care, and improvement of people’s health, 2010.
– Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross, in 2013 awarded a certificate of merit: For outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the “Heart for Children” program during the 2008-2013 period.
– Chairman of the Hai Phong City People’s Committee, in 2014 awarded a certificate of merit: For outstanding achievements in pediatric heart surgery in Hai Phong City from 2012 to 2014.
– Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee, in 2016, awarded a certificate of merit: For outstanding achievements in transferring open-heart surgery techniques at Bac Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
