Warning: Seasonal flu outbreak in spring

During the transition period between seasons, the weather changes erratically with heavy rain and high humidity, creating conditions for viruses that cause respiratory diseases, including the flu virus that causes seasonal flu.
Seasonal flu is an acute respiratory infection caused by the influenza virus, mainly strains A(H1N1), A(H3N2), B, and C. The disease is prevalent in many countries around the world.
Seasonal flu tends to spread in epidemics during the winter and spring and has a very high transmission potential through the respiratory route, through the air, and tiny droplets that travel in the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks.
Additionally, during this transitional period, the respiratory systems of many people, especially young children, pregnant women, and the elderly, are weakened. In some severe cases, individuals with seasonal flu may die or cause miscarriage in pregnant women.
